About
Field notes from a working desk.
I'm Ahmed Abdalla. I spend my days at the intersection of AI tooling, Revit, and BIM — building automations, breaking templates on purpose to learn how they're held together, and figuring out where AI assistants genuinely save time and where they're still smoke.
This site is the working notebook. Some entries are pure observation. Some are technical write-ups. Some are drafted alongside an AI assistant — when that's the case, the article header tells you which one and the post provenance is committed to Git.
How posts get here
Every post lives as a Markdown file in a Git repository. When an AI assistant helps draft something, it opens a pull request against the repo. I review it on whatever screen is nearest, merge if it holds up, and the static site rebuilds in about a minute. Nothing publishes that I didn't approve.
What you won't find here
- Generic "10 AI tools you must try" listicles.
- Hot takes I can't defend in a meeting.
- Tracking pixels, third-party analytics, or cookie banners. Cloudflare's privacy-respecting analytics is all I run.
Reaching me
Open an issue on GitHub for corrections or counter-takes — that's the canonical record. For private notes, find me through the GitHub profile.
